Programs

Join us for a peaceful morning Bird Walk at Lake Kyle. This slow-paced walk is perfect for all experience levels, including seniors and those with limited mobility.

Participants will learn how to properly use binoculars, identify local and migrating bird species (such as herons, flycatchers, and swallows), and enjoy the beauty of nature at a relaxed pace.
The City of Kyle Parks and Recreation Department will have a limited number of binoculars available to borrow.

Come connect with nature, meet fellow bird enthusiasts, and see what feathered friends are passing through Kyle this spring!

January Bird Walk at Lake Kyle Park
This walk will connect with National Bird Day and focus on winter birding, waterbirds, and beginner birding skills. Lake Kyle Park provides open water, shoreline habitat, and accessible viewing areas for participants.
