2026 Veteran's Day Parade Participant

The City of Kyle invites the community to honor and celebrate our nation's veterans at the annual Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, Nov. 14, beginning at 11:45 a.m. in La Verde District. This annual tradition recognizes the service and sacrifice of the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Businesses, organizations, schools, veterans groups, and community members are encouraged to participate as we come together to show our appreciation for those who have defended our nation.

Viewing the Parade:
The best locations to view the Veterans Day Parade are along the parade route in the La Verde District. The parade will begin on Burnham Drive, travel east on Doherty Drive, and continue north on Cromwell Avenue, ending at East Avenue A. To help keep everyone safe, attendees are asked to remain on sidewalks or designated grassy areas and avoid entering the roadway while the parade is in progress.

Detour & Parade Route:
The Veterans Day Parade will take place in the La Verde District, beginning on Burnham Drive, traveling east on Doherty Drive, and continuing north on Cromwell Avenue before ending at East Avenue A. Burnham Drive, Doherty Drive, and Cromwell Avenue along the parade route will be closed to traffic during the event. Road closures will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will reopen as soon as the parade concludes. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes to avoid delays.

Parade Participation:
The City of Kyle welcomes veterans organizations, military units, businesses, schools, nonprofits, civic groups, and community organizations to participate in this year's Veterans Day Parade. Participants are encouraged to decorate their entries in a patriotic theme that honors the service and sacrifice of our nation's veterans while keeping all displays family-friendly.

Note:

A mandatory participant meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 4. Attendance is required for all parade participants. Additional meeting details, including the time and location, will be provided prior to the event.
